I am really excited to start dyeing this year's advent calendar! This year's theme is The Poison Garden and will be a moody, fairly dark offering of colourways, the mood board should give you a good idea of what I have planned. Each skein will be created for this advent, themed on the poisonous plants and berries that can be found growing in our gardens. The skeins have been designed so they can be used together in one project or as individual skeins. (The 4 weekly advent skeins will be different from the 25 day advent colourways)
The 4 weekly advent consists of 4 x 100g individually wrapped skeins as well as a couple of carefully chosen themed extras* and a handmade project bag using themed fabric picked especially for this advent. All of the above comes in a lovely presentation box which can be reused afterwards.
*extras may be edible or scented, please advise of any allergies
There are 3 different yarn base options to chose from. The lovely 'smooth' sock, the 'soft twisty' sock and the 'smooth' DK.

All yarn options are 75% superwash merino and 25% nylon

All advents will be mailed out at the beginning of November using a signed for delivery service, other than the coordinating tonal, please order advents separately from other items in the shop.

Due to the hand dyed nature of hand dyed yarns, no two skeins are exactly identical, even when dyed together at the same time within the same dye lot.
Yarn is thoroughly rinsed in plain water, (we do not use soaps or soaks, scented or otherwise) but a small amount of colour run may occur during the first wash, especially if a soap or soak is used. Although this yarn is superwash and can be machine washed on a wool setting, hand washing is recommended in cool/lukewarm water then lay flat to dry.
Each skein has been hand dyed using professional grade colourfast dyes. All yarn bases have been ethically sourced and are cruelty free (non-mulesing).
We always try to accurately represent yarn colours but due to monitor variations the colours may vary slightly. Our photos are taken in natural light
We are a smokefree, pet friendly household. All of our yarns are stored away from the pets and every care is taken to ensure our pets do not come into contact with the yarn.
